Brittney Michael is a dedicated Associate Attorney with a strong passion for helping others through the power of legal knowledge. She brings a fresh, determined perspective shaped by her academic excellence, hands-on legal experience, and a deeply personal commitment to service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her path to law was driven by a desire to gain an education that could empower her to make a real difference in people\u2019s lives. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Youngstown State University in 2021. During her undergraduate years, she interned with Community Legal Aid and was a proud member of the national political science honors society, Pi Sigma Alpha. In 2024, Brittney received her Juris Doctor from The University of Akron School of Law. While there, she worked with the Inmate Assistance Program, contributed to a private law firm as a clerk, and volunteered with the University of Akron Legal Clinic, helping individuals apply for Certificates of Qualification for Employment (CQEs)\u2014an Ohio initiative supporting individuals with criminal records in finding meaningful work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brittney passed the Ohio Bar Examination in July 2024 and was officially sworn in as an attorney on November 12, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raised in a small Ohio town, Brittney draws strength from her family, especially her supportive father and older sister, who encouraged her through every step of her journey. She\u2019s also proud dog mom to Lucy, her spirited Chihuahua named after Lucille Ball. Outside of work, Brittney enjoys reading, documentaries, pickleball, trying out new recipes, and spending time with loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her proudest achievement is simply taking the leap into higher education. Coming from a place where most move straight into the workforce after high school, Brittney’s college experience profoundly shaped who she is\u2014giving her not only a degree but friendships, growth, and lifelong lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Brittney loves most about being an attorney is the ability to simplify complex legal issues and relieve clients of some of the burdens they carry.
